• Aftercare Support Staff

  • Overview

    The purpose of the Aftercare Support is to focus on contacting patients and relaying clinical results.


    The primary duties and responsibilities of an Aftercare Support are:

    • Work in a fast paced environment with a focus on superior Customer Service
    • Report cases to the Department of Health (DOH) via Facsimile and online portal
    • Generate patient letters / reports
    • Obtain and attach patient clinical documents from Imaging Centers and Laboratories to a patient’s chart
    • Print lab results and identify patient allergies and current medications
    • Timely responses to tasks assigned by clinicians
    • Send patient requested medical reports via email and ensure appropriate encryption is applied to each email
    • Ability to multi-task and use multiple systems, including our electronic medical documentation system to provide medical information and patient support/follow up after the clinical visit
    • Report cases to the DOH within three (3) days of being identified
    • Generate patient letters / reports within one (1) day of being identified
    • Complete all task assigned by a clinician before end of shift
    • Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and policies


    A candidate’s qualifications will include:

    • A minimum of a High School diploma / GED or higher
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Adaptability to work in a continuously evolving environment
    • Organized and self-motivated
    • Flexible with a full-time work schedule including weekends, rotating hours and holidays.
    • Call center or clinical laboratory experience a plus
