The IT Director is responsible for:

  • Managing and growing an efficient and cost effective IT department with a focus on a stable and advanced IT environment.
  • Leading both insourced and outsourced teams as well as other leaders engaged in comprehensive management of IT Operations to ensure strategic initiatives are being met.
  • Overseeing and managing the technology stack.
  • Understanding and managing vendor incident management while delivering high levels of customer service that aligns to our Internal and Customer service levels.
  • Directing, motivating, developing and managing the performance of the management team and key staff.


The primary duties and responsibilities of an IT Director are:

  • Prioritizing in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Ensuring processes meet business requirements and system goals.
  • Ensuring new and/or enhanced processes are integrated with standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborating and understanding the business requirements, ultimately define our overall Information Technology road-map.
  • Determining technology development strategies for the company as a whole and for individual projects; working with top-level management and technology heads to organize these projects.


A candidate’s qualifications will include:

  • Associate’s (or Bachelor's degree preferred) in related discipline OR Equivalent combination of education and experience in a clinical role/setting
  • 10+ years' experience in analyzing, programming, designing, testing, implementing computer based systems
  • Configure applications to meet client's requirements
  • Understand the functional capabilities and limitations with the technologies being used
  • Develop high level project work plans
  • Very strong conceptual, analytical, judgment and communication abilities.
  • Experience with: Network Architecture, Storage, Telecommunications, Virtualization Technologies, Cloud Computing Technologies, IT Security and Compliance
  • Service Vendor Management and Partnerships
  • Experience working and managing Linux infrastructures, managing multiple database engines, working in a large scale SaaS Environment, managing and planning budgets, leading and growing out a diverse team and other managers
