    Job purpose

    The purpose of the Part-Time Aftercare Clinical Assistant (Level 1) is to will focus on contacting patients and relaying clinical results.



    Duties and responsibilities

    The primary duties, responsibilities and expectations of an Aftercare Clinical Assistant (Level 1) are:

    • Work in a fast paced environment with a focus on superior Customer Service
    • Communicate clinical results to patients, answer patient questions / concerns and provide necessary patient counseling / education under the directive of MD / PA / NP
    • Ability to multi-task and use multiple systems, including our electronic medical documentation system to provide medical information and patient support/follow up after the clinical visit
    • Assist with obtaining Advanced Imaging and / or specialist appointments
    • Ability to complete nine (9) or more calls per hour
    • Obtain outbound call proficiency certification within two (2) months and inbound call proficiency certification within six (6) months
    • Maintain an “above average” Customer Service score, per patient satisfaction survey
    • Maintain an “above average” Quality Assurance (QA) score, per QA random sampling
    • Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and policies


    A candidate’s qualifications will include:

    • A minimum of an Associate's degree, Bachelor’s a plus, clinical certification (x-ray technician, pharmacy technician, Nurses Assistant, etc.) and/or equivalent clinical experience
    • Clear communication skills
    • Flexible with a full-time work schedule including weekends, rotating hours and holidays.
    • Call center or clinical laboratory experience a plus
    • Minimum of 20 hours per week with 1-2 weekend days per month required
